The Church of Sweden in Umeå is critical of vaccine evidence at church services

The Church of Sweden in Umeå believes that in a country with religious freedom, it is important to be able to be anonymous in the church.

They would rather see the number limited at worship services than require vaccine certificates.

- We fully understand that we must follow restrictions and stop the infection, but what is being discussed now is whether it is compatible with religious freedom to require vaccine proof, says Lena Fagéus parish priest in Umeå. 

At larger concerts and Christmas celebrations in the church, however, it may be relevant to require a vaccine certificate.
