Russia announces launch of military vehicle into space
The Russian Defense Ministry announced Thursday morning that it has launched a military vehicle into outer space.
The media office of the Ministry of Defense said, in a statement, that a Soyuz - 2.1b missile carrying a military vehicle was successfully launched into outer space.
The statement added that the missile carrying the military vehicle was launched from the Plesetsk space base, and that the spacecraft is intended for "military purposes."
