 The Public Prosecution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia revealed, this evening, Thursday, the penalty for anyone who violated the isolation or quarantine instructions issued by the competent authority regarding the Corona virus.

The Public Prosecution explained in an infographic that it published on its Twitter account, that the penalties are: “imprisonment for a period of up to two years, a fine of up to 200,000 riyals, the deportation of the convicted resident from the Kingdom and a permanent ban on entry to it.”

And she added: "It is prohibited to violate the quarantine provisions - issued by the competent authority - by those infected with the Corona virus, those who are in contact with them, or those suspected of being infected, under pain of strict criminal accountability."
