French fishermen announced the blocking of ports and Eurotunnel in France for goods on Friday.

They thus carry out their threat, while 150 French fishing boats still await the green light from London to continue operating in English waters deemed to have more fish, as had been concluded in the Brexit agreements.

They carry out their threat.

Exasperated by the attitude of the United Kingdom, the French fishermen had announced their intention to put pressure on the British, and they are preparing to do so.

They announced on Thursday the blocking from Friday morning of several French ports and Eurotunnel in France for goods.

The aim is to put pressure on the EU to force the British to grant fishing licenses in accordance with Brexit agreements, there are still 150 French fishing boats waiting for the green light from London to continue operating in English waters .

"The goal is to ask the Commission to take its responsibilities and to ensure that the agreement is respected. Then, it is to warn Boris Johnson and to say to him 'Attention your fishermen have access to the European market, I do not see why our boats would not have access to British waters. So now you are doing what it takes to enforce the agreement '", explained a few days ago at the microphone of Europe 1 Olivier Leprêtre, the president of the regional fisheries committee in Boulogne-sur-Mer.
