Former lawmaker Park Chang-dal, who helped Rep. Hong Jun-pyo in the People's Power presidential primary, declared his support for Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung.

Former lawmaker Park met Lee at a restaurant in Gwanghwamun, Seoul on the afternoon of the 25th and expressed support for Lee, saying, "Lee is a leader who can lead the nation's development through the practice of 'practical values', leaving the camp logic behind." .

"Ex-Rep. Park left the people's power on the 19th due to disappointment with candidate Yoon Seok-yeol and the limitations of the conservative ruling party, which is losing its identity," said the Democratic Party's election committee. I plan to work hard for Lee to win the election as the Gyeongbuk General Election Commissioner,” he said.

Former lawmaker Park, who started politics as a Democratic Republican Party in 1975, served as a member of the National Assembly (3rd term) as a member of the Grand National Party in the 15th and 17th National Assembly. It is considered a non-mainstream greeting.

During the recent People's Power presidential election, he served as the general manager of the Daegu and Gyeongbuk election committees at the Hong Joon-pyo camp.
