“An exchange of assessments of the situation on the European-Belarusian border took place,” the message says.

Zelenskiy informed Andrzej Duda about the development of the situation in eastern Ukraine and about the steps taken by Kiev "being taken to revitalize the work of all negotiation formats for the sake of achieving peace." 

As specified, during the negotiations, the parties paid attention to the coordination of the positions of the parties to oppose the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron during a telephone conversation with Polish President Andrzej Duda and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki discussed the situation on the Belarusian-Polish border.
