Sweden's prime minister resigns hours after her appointment
Sweden's elected prime minister, Magdalena Andersson, resigned on Wednesday, hours after she was appointed by parliament after she failed to pass a budget bill and the Green Party withdrew from the coalition government.
Anderson of the Social Democratic Party told reporters: "There is a constitutional convention that a coalition government should resign if a party withdraws from it."
