The Liberal Democratic Party Takeshita faction held a meeting on the 24th and agreed that Secretary General Mogi will be appointed as the successor to the deceased former chairman of the general affairs, Takeshita.

It will be officially decided at the faction meeting on the 25th, and the "Mogi faction" will be launched.

In the Liberal Democratic Party Takeshita faction, former chairman Takeshita died in September, leaving the chairman's post vacant. We have confirmed that the head will be the "planned person" of the next chairman.

Then, on the 24th, executives such as Mr. Mogi, former Minister of Finance Nukaga, and Chairman of the House of Representatives Sekiguchi held a meeting at the faction office, and unanimously agreed that Mr. Mogi would be appointed chairman.

We also agreed that the new Secretary-General will be the former Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Shindo, and the Vice Chairman will be the former Chief Cabinet Secretary Kato.

The Takeshita faction has decided to formally decide on such personnel cases at the faction meeting on the 25th, and the "Mogi faction" will be launched in place of the Takeshita faction, which has continued for about three and a half years.
