The Poules pour tous company organizes rescues of young laying hens aged 23 weeks.
It offers individuals a sale on December 2 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Jardinerie Dubourg Kiriel in Pessac.
The young red, ashy, black, sussex and azure hens are sold at a price of 11 euros.
Reservations are made directly on the Poules pour tous website.
"The purpose of the structure is to save the laying hens promised to the slaughterhouse by offering them a new chance and a peaceful retirement among individuals who agree to adopt them," explains Poule pour tous in its press release.
The company works exclusively with breeders of organic or outdoor laying hens.
