Exercises started in Ukraine due to migration crisis in Belarus

“Tactical exercises have started today.

All scenarios of a possible escalation of the migration crisis in border towns and villages are being worked out, ”the press service of the National Police said.

The head of the National Police Igor Klimenko said that the soldiers of the State Border Service, the National Guard and the National Police began a set of measures aimed at maintaining order in areas bordering Belarus and "working out algorithms for possible actions of migrants."

"The tactics of interaction of all departments for possible violations of the law and prevention of the migration crisis ... is the main task of this event," the message says.

Earlier it became known that the missile destroyer Porter and the headquarters ship USS Mount Whitney of the US Navy conducted exercises with ships of Turkey, Romania and Ukraine in international waters.
