One sells in the shop, the other manages the online shop, and there is also a repair shop for bags.

Under the umbrella of the second-hand boutique for luxury labels, SuperBrands, the owner Susanne Ruschinski on Sandgasse in Frankfurt is now networking several concepts by independent women.

She herself comes from marketing and, in a leading position at a Swiss bank, knew many “discerning women”, as she explains.

Ladies who could afford to wear a dress or pair of shoes only once.

"I didn't like that before."

Ruschinski opened her first second-hand boutique in Zug a good six years ago and is now in the process of making the SuperBrands brand known through two additional branches in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt.

In Frankfurt, after a pop-up on Bleidenstrasse, the retailer moved to the area of the former Escape Futura shoe store - a bright but functional room that doesn't look great.

Lambskin coats by Tom Ford (2990 euros) and Chloé (2890 euros) hang more loosely here than elsewhere, on velvet hangers on the pole.

In any case, they are in good condition and “well looked after”, as the entrepreneur emphasizes.

New worth at least twice as much

The little boots from Hermès, for example (796 euros) - are, as she says, worn “at most once in a restaurant” and, like all items in the store, are now worth at least twice as much.

Suppliers are well-heeled ladies who give their things on commission.

Anja Murjahn started at Hochstraße two years ago with a similar concept.

However, she gave up the business and instead set up an online shop for luxury fashion under the name Style Definery, through which she sells her own items and second-hand fashion from the SuperBrands branches.

A clothes rail is also reserved in the boutique for your consignment goods.

Above all, Murjahn manages the online shop from Sandgasse.

This is where the second-hand goods are received, photographed and sent.

The third member of the group is Tatjana Ewers Zum Rode, who after a baby break has revived her repair workshop "t'Atelier" for the care and refurbishment of leather bags.

From now on, customers can also hand in their needy Dior bags at SuperBrands.
