“The citizenship of the Republic of Belarus can be lost by persons found guilty of committing certain categories of crimes of an extremist nature,” he said.
Parshin also proposed to establish unconditional administrative responsibility for subscribing to Internet resources recognized as extremist.
According to him, in total in Belarus, access to 104 such Internet resources is limited, materials of 125 Telegram channels are recognized as extremist.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus included the Telegram channels NEXTA, NEXTA-Live and LUXTA, as well as the Internet resources of the Polish TV channel Belsat in the list of extremist groups.
On October 14, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic said that they had identified almost all the most active participants and administrators of extremist Telegram channels in Belarus.
