Two extreme climbers caused a sensation in the banking district on Tuesday: the Frenchman Alain Robert, known as “Spiderman”, and the French climber Leo Urban reached the roof of the 153 meter high office tower “Skyper” in the morning.

The Freeclimber do without any kind of security.

Robert wore cowboy boots and a silver suit while climbing.

Both have climbed Frankfurt skyscrapers in the past.

59-year-old Robert in particular has become known all over the world with similar actions.

The action also attracted onlookers on Tuesday.

The police cordoned off the public area in front of the skyscraper.

The two climbers were temporarily arrested, said a police spokesman.

Criminal charges for trespassing were filed against them.

Robert has climbed the "Skyper" several times.

In 2019, he only needed twenty minutes to climb.

In 2008 he unrolled a banner on the roof to draw attention to the consequences of global warming.

In the past few decades, the French facade climber has climbed more than 70 buildings, including - exceptionally roped - the 828 meter high Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the tallest building in the world.
