“I don't know anything about this,” said Peskov, answering the question of whether the presidential representatives received such a request.

Earlier, as RIA Novosti reported, lawyer Sergei Afanasyev said that Ilya Sachkov had made a request to the Russian president.

“I very much ask my President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to allow me to be under house arrest with maximum restrictions during the investigation,” the lawyer read Sachkov's letter.

On November 23, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow granted the request of the investigation and extended the detention of the founder of Group-IB, Ilya Sachkov, accused of high treason.

Sachkov himself denies guilt.
