In this regard, according to Spinu, the government is discussing the issues of determining solutions and guaranteeing the delivery of gas to citizens of Moldova.

Earlier, Gazprom informed Moldova that it would stop gas supplies in 48 hours due to the failure of the Moldovan side to fulfill its contractual obligations.

According to the agreements concluded earlier, Moldova must pay 100% of the payments on time, this point was not complied with on November 22. 

The head of Moldovagaz, Vadim Cheban, then said that the company had received a notification from Gazprom and was working on the problem of non-payment.
