“We cannot talk about Moscow’s intentions, but we are familiar with the schemes by which Russia operates,” RIA Novosti quoted Ned Price as saying.

He noted that any aggressive actions against Ukraine would cause concern in Washington.

Price also did not disclose what actions might follow in relation to Moscow.

Earlier, Bloomberg, citing sources, reported that US intelligence has shared data with European allies, including maps, according to which there is an alleged build-up of Russian troops and artillery in preparation for a quick, large-scale "invasion" of Ukraine from several points. 

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that a number of Western media are being used as pipes for stuffing against Russia. 

Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that there is no tension on the border between Russia and Ukraine.
