Health centers in almost all municipalities in Kalmar County now have a box to collect and submit self-tests for covid.
In connection with the boxes being installed, the self-sampling will stop where healthy representatives will pick up and leave the sample, which previously existed at the health centers.
For the time being, this will instead only take place at selected pharmacies.
The only municipality that has not yet received a self-picking box is Högsby health center, but there is one on the way according to the region.
The background is the Swedish Public Health Agency's fluctuation in the issue of testing double-vaccinated for symptoms.
They have now returned to the recommendation that vaccinated people should also be tested.
