The Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision of the Autonomous Region filed 287 cases, punished 240 people, and transferred 57 people to the procuratorial organs, and severely investigated and dealt with a number of serious violations of discipline and law, including Li Xinyuan, Tang Nong, Zhang Xuejun, Yu Xingxiang, Yu Changwen, Li Jian, and Xu Gui.

According to Lei Yongda, Guangxi has issued the "Guiding Opinions on Strengthening Political Supervision in the New Era", focusing on "top leaders" and the leadership team to perform their duties, formulate a quarterly supervision list, and promote the specific, normalized, in-depth, and effective political supervision.

Lei Yongda said that in the past five years, Guangxi has investigated and punished 17,200 mental problems that violated the eight central regulations and punished 18,800 people, of which 7,823 were hedonistic and extravagant problems, and 8,619 were formalism and bureaucracy.
Simultaneously promote system governance, supervision and restraint, and education and guidance, constantly tighten cages that cannot be corrupted, strengthen dams that do not want to be corrupted, and steadily improve the comprehensive effectiveness of both symptoms and root causes.

The district investigated and dealt with 30,200 issues in the area of poverty alleviation, punished 19,000 persons, notified and exposed 7,312 typical cases, and severely investigated and dealt with a number of corruption cases in the area of poverty alleviation, including Zhao Li, Xie Dayan, Wei Chaoyong, and Wei Xiaoqiang.

Guangxi has perfected the party’s unified leadership of the anti-corruption struggle system and established three-level supervisory committees of autonomous regions, cities, and counties to work together with the Commission for Discipline Inspection to achieve full coverage of all public officials exercising public power.
