November 22, 2021 With the approval of Aifa, in Italy we will move towards the possibility of administering the third dose or the booster five months after the last injection. This is what the Government reported to the Regions. 



The meeting between the Government and the Regions, which began shortly before 6.30 pm, must establish new measures to face the fourth wave of Covid. At Palazzo Chigi are present the ministers of Regional Affairs and Health, Mariastella Gelmini and Roberto Speranza, and the undersecretary to the Prime Minister Garofoli. The Regions, which are pushing for more stringent measures, participate in the meeting via video link.



Hope: third crucial dose, possible after 5 months


"The booster dose is crucial to better protect us and those around us. After the latest AIFA opinion it will be possible to do it 5 months after completing the first cycle. Let's all get vaccinated to be stronger". This was stated on Fb by the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza.



Toti: increase border controls with countries


"Well, as it seems, the Government has already decided to bring the third dose forward five months after the last vaccination. the countries with the greatest circulation. I hope that the Government will adopt all these measures within the next few hours ". This was the request of the Ligurian governor, Giovanni Toti, during the meeting of the Regions with the Government.
