A car crashed into a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on Sunday afternoon.

At least 20 people were injured and several killed, police said.

It is not yet known how many people have died.

A video circulating on social media shows a red car crashing into a marching band from behind.

A second video shows police firing at the same car as it breaks through a roadblock.

The car has since been found and a suspect has been arrested, police said.

It is not yet clear whether there was a terrorist motive.

Police had previously asked people in the city center to stay at home because of the ongoing investigation into exactly what happened.

This order is no longer in effect.

Images show that many emergency services were present after the incident.

Eleven adults and twelve children have been taken to hospital.

A woman told

that the car hit a dance team of girls between the ages of nine and 15.

The first reaction was silence, followed by yelling, running and tending to the injured, the witness said.

We're at the intersection of Bank & Barstow.

We hear sirens in the distance.

Police are expanding the perimeter.
