The Vsevolozhsk City Court arrested for two months those accused of murdering a man whose corpse recently fell out of the trunk of a car that got into an accident on the A-121 Sortavala highway in the Leningrad Region.
According to the press service of the regional investigation department of the TFR, the defendants will stay in the pre-trial detention center until January 20, 2022.
“At the request of the investigating body, the court chose two men accused of murder as a preventive measure in the form of detention,” the report says.
The press service of the courts of the Leningrad region clarified that a resident of the city of Murino E.E.
Komarov and a resident of St. Petersburg Ya.I.
Shchepanovsky.
Both of them are accused under clause "g" of Part 2 of Art.
105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder committed by a group of persons, by a group of persons by prior conspiracy or by an organized group).
As reported by TASS, the third person involved in the case, who is charged with concealing the crime, was released on recognizance not to leave.
Corpse in the trunk
On Saturday, November 20, on the A-121 "Sortavala" road near the junction with the village of Kerro, an accident occurred - a Mitsubishi Galant car crashed into a bump stop, after which the corpse of a man with a cut throat fell out of the trunk of the car.
After that, according to eyewitnesses, the driver and two passengers ran out of the car and disappeared into the forest.
The operatives who arrived at the scene established that the deceased was a 50-year-old native of Yerevan, Arkadi Kazinyan.
According to local media reports, he has lived in St. Petersburg since 1996.
"As a result of investigative and operational measures in hot pursuit, investigators and police officers detained three young people a few hours later," Maria Dobrynina, an official representative of the IC department in the Leningrad Region, told RT.
Journalists of the 47news edition found out that the arrest took place in the attic of one of the houses on Bolshaya Zelenina Street in St. Petersburg, where 23-year-old Yegor Komarov had recently lived.
Another defendant in the case, 23-year-old native of the Luhansk region, Yan Shchepanovskiy, and the third detainee, whose name is not called, lived at a different address.
During interrogation, they confessed to what they had done, saying that the reason for the brutal reprisal was that on the eve of the murder, Kazinyan had beaten Shchepanovsky.
According to the investigation, at three o'clock in the morning on the territory of the garage cooperative "Laguna", located on Laboratornaya Street in St. Petersburg, the friends, being intoxicated, attacked Kazinyan and inflicted several knife wounds on him.
After that, they called a friend and asked to take them to the forest belt near Priozersk.
Before leaving, the attackers took two shovels, a rope and construction bags from the garage, and set the garage on fire.
However, on the way to the place where they were going to bury the body, at about four in the morning, the car had an accident.
As a result, the investigation charged two persons involved with murder, and the third with concealing a crime.
The guard of the garage cooperative told RT the circumstances of that night.
“On the night from Friday to Saturday, a repair box was set on fire.
Our gatehouse is so worth it that we do not see them.
They thought that this was the property of the murdered, and so they took revenge.
I have never seen the killed person - there are many who are engaged in repairs, '' the guard told RT.
- The fire was not strong, but it was enough to burn down the electrical wiring.

Shocking confession
Meanwhile, during the interrogation, Yegor Komarov made an unexpected confession, dropping the phrase that "he likes to kill people."
In the course of further questioning, he confessed to the murder, which he committed in order to "taste human flesh."
It turned out that the victim of Komarov was a stock broker.
On the morning of September 27, 2020, the police of the Vyborgsky district found the body of a 38-year-old man in the pipe of Sosnovka Park.
Together with the body, they found a backpack containing groceries and a check from a supermarket from the Rodeo Drive shopping mall located nearby.
The footage shows that a man, dressed in blue jeans and a T-shirt, with an orange backpack on his back, left the mall and walked towards the park.
Nobody followed him.
During interrogation, Komarov told the investigators: “I killed the one from Sosnovka in vain.
It turned out to be tasteless.
I have long wanted to kill a person and taste him, but I did not dare, because it was scary.
But last September I made up my mind - I took a knife and a backpack and went to the Sosnovka park ... I chose a man and followed him. "
According to him, he soon approached the man from behind and stabbed him in the neck.
When he began to resist, he struck about ten more blows.
After that, according to the detainee, he cut off the victim's tongue and cooked it at home.

Komarov's acquaintances, on condition of anonymity, told RT that they did not notice any oddities behind him and that such news shocked them greatly.
