The competitions of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Competition continued in its fifth session, which is organized by the Dubai International Holy Quran Award in the Culture and Science Symposium Hall in Dubai.

The second day of the competition witnessed a strong competition between the contestants, as Saadia Omar Abkar from Cameroon, Hanifa Abdel Nasser Moalem Ahmed from the United Kingdom, Asiya Ali Ahmed from Nigeria, Iman Ahmed Mohamed Abu Alaila from Jordan, and Mona Abdi Fattar Abdi Farah from Kenya came to recite in front of the exam committee. and Princess Adnan from the United Republic of the Comoros, and the memorization levels of the contestants on the second day were distinguished.

The contestant, Ruwaida Qassem Muhammad, representative of the United States, said: "I got a bachelor's degree in engineering, was born and raised in the United States, and there I began memorizing the Qur'an at the age of 11, and concluded it at the age of 17. My parents do not memorize the Qur'an, but they are keen to memorize the Qur'an with my six brothers."

As for the representative of the Philippines, Nassora Hammoud Sumael, she expressed her happiness for her participation in this competition. She said: “I grew up in an orphanage center, and fortunately, the center in which I was placed was a charitable institution established to care for orphans, and it memorizes the most important scientific texts from the Cubs book, And the Book of Monotheism, Interpretation, and Creed, hence the idea of ​​memorizing the Noble Qur’an.”

The contestant, Feryal Ahmed Misbah, representative of Palestine, said that she is a fourth-year student majoring in economics and management at Al Qasimia University, and began memorizing at the age of seven and concluded at the age of 15. She added: “I belong to a family of memorizers. And my three brothers are among the keepers.”

As for the contestant Indian representative, Salha Payka, a 20-year-old girl, she said that she studied in India until the age of ten, and then came with her father to the Emirates to reside. She registered at a Quran memorization center in Dubai, where she memorized and sealed the Qur’an. Her parents encouraged her to memorize, and her older brothers study interpretation in India. .

She added: "This is the first international competition in which I participate, and my father used to see and follow it, and when he saw the announcement, he hurried to ask about how to be nominated, and he took me, tested and succeeded."
