'Kim Hye-kyung, mother of two children VS Tori's mother Kim Kun-hee'

Rep. Han Jun-ho of the Democratic Party of Korea, who caused a controversy over the so-called 'birth comparison' and 'degrading infertility' through SNS posts, posted an apology yesterday (20th).

It has been three days since the controversy.

I compared Kim Hye-kyung, wife of Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung, and Kim Gun-hee, wife of Yoon Seok-yeol, People's Strength presidential candidate, saying that the first lady also represents national dignity.

This is because there was a nuance that Kim Hye-kyung, who gave birth to and raised two children, was better than Kim Kun-hee, who raised a dog without children.

A lawmaker deleted the phrase after the controversy, but was criticized for not understanding the feelings of the couple due to lack of gender sensitivity and infertility and infertility.

Kim Kun-hee has had a history of miscarriage of children in the past.

Han Jun-ho apologizes for the first time in three days...

In the Telegram room, "because of the reporters"

However, until he apologized three days later, it was confirmed that Rep. Han Jun-ho had maintained the position that "reporters raised the problem."

According to multiple Democratic Party leaders, on the morning of the 20th, in the telegram room of a spokesperson for the Democratic Party’s election campaign, a post was posted saying, “The public opinion is not good, so it would be better to apologize as soon as possible.”

Then, a lawmaker said, "I will follow the leadership's position as soon as it is cleared up," followed by the following message.

"I didn't delete the post because of the controversy, but the reporters captured the process of writing and editing the post around 7:20-30 minutes and raised the problem. I ask for your judgment on this part. We apologize for causing a controversy."

(Rep. Han Jun-ho)

There was no controversy about his SNS post, but the claim that the process of writing and editing the post was 'reporters captured the problem and raised the problem'.

One lawmaker asked the leadership to make a decision, and at 1:40 pm yesterday, about three and a half hours after this conversation, he finally issued an apology.

As if he had endured and apologized, it was a passage that made even the sincerity of the apology doubtful.

"It feels like we still don't know what the problem is," said an official of the senior leadership team.

Another member of the National Assembly pointed out, "It was very inappropriate to mention the candidate in that passage."

The reason was that it could be read as if the candidate had told him not to respond.

I called several times and left a text message to ask about the position of a lawmaker on the message, but a lawmaker did not answer.

"Secretaries should have no mouths"...

Concerns even within the senior leadership team

Aside from the absurd media views and the issue of appropriateness of expression, concerns and lamentations arose from within the captaincy right away. The intention was that the executive director, who was the closest assistant to the candidate, would continue to intensify controversy with unnecessary SNS activities. (Rep. Han Jun-ho is currently the executive director of candidate Lee Jae-myung) Former Gyeongnam governor Kim Kyung-soo, who served as the executive director of then-candidate Moon Jae-in in the 19th presidential election, showed an abstaining from social media activities and personal remarks. Rep. Han Jung-jin expressed concern, saying, "The secretary should have no mouth, not to mention the head of the training department. The chief of staff is like a candidate's limbs. It's a position that doesn't need SNS."

Not to mention, the most common phrase in and out of the Democratic Party election campaign right now is that "everyone is focused only on their own brilliance." Yang Jeong-cheol, former director of the Institute for Democracy, who played a key role in retaking the government in the past, recently pointed out that "only the candidates are running to die," and he does not feel a sense of crisis or urgency. Even Candidate Jae-myung Lee himself scolded him for being "a senior captain who is big but doesn't take care of his work properly." It is openly pointed out that lawmakers are engaged in fights for positions and try to do business with each other.

Rep. Han Jun-ho's response itself is also a problem.

The social media of lawmakers is strictly an open public coverage area, and lawmakers actively utilize it.

The problem is that he used inappropriate expressions in the first place, and that someone captured it while editing it and raised the problem is a logic close to sophistry.

If it is the same logic, is it the fault of the media that captured the photo of candidate Yoon Seok-yeol's 'dog's apology' and made an article about it?

It is difficult to understand the perception and judgment of a lawmaker (former MBC announcer) who is usually a journalist.

He couldn't even make a decision on his own, he made excuses for the candidate and waited for the leadership to make a decision, and only three days later he posted an apology.

There is also a point that a lawmaker's 'excessive loyalty' increases anger.

A re-elected member of the House of Representatives, who was participating in the election, gave an evaluation that he was "drunk."

It means that you keep saying and doing things you shouldn't do.

Another middle-level person pointed out, "The problem is that I don't think there is enough content yet."

In a radio interview, copywriter Jeong Cheol, who created a slogan like 'People come first' for the Moon Jae-in camp in the past and recently joined Lee Jae-myung, said in a radio interview, "I don't think you should put too much force on your shoulders, so I went out a little."

There was an interpretation that he was talking about a lawmaker.

The sudden action of lawmakers, ultimately the burden of the candidates

The biggest problem is that these 'sudden actions' eventually come back as a burden to the candidates.

A lawmaker's SNS post was immediately criticized by politicians.

The People's Power demanded the resignation, saying, "Does Candidate Jae-myung Lee, who leaves such a nonsensical person as the head of the executive branch, tacitly agree to the opinion of a lawmaker?" The Justice Party said, "Gukgeuk is determined by the first lady's pregnancy, childbirth, and childrearing status." It is not going to happen,” he said, urging the Democratic Party and Candidate Lee to express their position and take action.

The Korean Council of Women's Organizations also said, "Is women a tool for childbirth?" and "I want to ask what the presidential candidate, who appointed such a member of the National Assembly as the head of his execution office, thinks of this remark."

It may be concluded with an apology from a member of the National Assembly, but it is a burden that the candidate does not have to lose.

It is known that the Democratic Party will hold an emergency meeting of the House of Representatives today and announce a plan to reorganize the election committee.

"It can't be like this" is the perception of Candidate Lee and the leadership of the previous generation.

Rep. Han Jung-jin, called Chairman Lee Jae-myung-gye, said, "The reorganization should be done in a way that can impress the people."

Of course it should be.

However, an urgent task just as important as impressing the people is not to create unnecessary controversy around the candidate.
