The mother (Um Mohammed), calmly displays her skills in front of the visitors, by preparing her elaborate handicrafts directly, to give them the opportunity to get acquainted with the cultural and heritage heritage of the UAE.

And not only that, but the mother (Umm Muhammad) is keen to instill the values ​​of authenticity and heritage in the hearts of children, youth and youth, as they gather around her platform to watch her brilliantly spinning “wicker”, while at the same time talking to them about the importance of adhering to our Emirati heritage and our authentic Arab customs and traditions, and bequeathing them For future generations, because it is an integral part of the national identity of the people of the UAE.

After the dawn prayer, the mother (Um Muhammad) prepares the things she uses to present her heritage craftsmanship, such as palm fronds and wicker, which she prepares and dyes in different colors so that she appears in the best of her clothes, and then sets out on her daily journey from the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to “Expo 2020 Dubai.” Traveling more than 100 km by car.

After her arrival, she meets with other mothers who are ambassadors of Emirati heritage, who are in charge of protecting and preserving the country's heritage, so that they all demonstrate their skills in making several types of traditional handicrafts, such as: "Al-Tali, Henna, Al-Da'un, and Al-Safa" and other works that fall within Design and crafts program at Expo.

Visitors noted the mother's interest in preparing one of her traditional works and the intense passion that appears through the movements of her skilled hands.

And the mother (Um Muhammad) says: “I am a resident of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, specifically from the Al Dhait region, and have been fond of making handicrafts since I was 10 years old. And palm fronds and their use in the manufacture of fables, baskets, bags of various kinds for adults and children, hand fans, clips, yip, covered with all kinds of large and small, and other handicrafts that the ancestors used in their daily lives.

She added: "I was keen to participate in (Expo 2020 Dubai), through the Design and Crafts program, because of my firm conviction of the importance of introducing visitors to the international event to our heritage, customs and traditions, which we grew up on, and which are an integral part of our cultural heritage that we are proud of, and also to convey A positive image of Emirati women, and an indication of their keenness on community participation to serve their country in all fields,” expressing her happiness at the great turnout of visitors to see their products and to monitor them while they were making handicrafts.

She said: "Emirati women are an essential and active partner in the UAE society, thanks to the great role granted to them by the late, God willing, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, and after him, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him. who followed his approach in caring for Emirati women and empowering them in all fields to reach leadership positions.”
