Political scientist Balbek considered Reznikov's words about "playing chess with the West" populism

Another whim about the Russian “threat”, about the willingness to fight for the collective West, about the cunning of the Russians, ”Balbek noted.

According to him, the duty of the current Ukrainian Minister of Defense is to "stick out himself as a defender of freedom."

“We only hear a clerk who thinks of himself as a strategist,” Balbeck concluded.

Earlier, Reznikov said that Vladimir Putin was "playing chess with the West" by moving military forces within the Russian borders.

In his opinion, the Russian president "is testing the unity of the European Union" and "the unity of NATO allies."
