Juventus got off to a good start on the return from the international break by winning at Lazio Rome (2-0), thanks to two penalties from Leonardo Bonucci.

The Bianconeri join their opponents of the day in 5th place, eleven points from the co-leaders Naples and Milan, pending the poster of the 13th day of Serie A between Neapolitans and Nerazzurri (3rd).

Milan stumbles

A fall for the Rossoneri, surprised by an often attractive Fiorentina against the big ones but so far little rewarded.

Fiorentina took advantage of a blunder by Milan goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu, who replaces Mike Maignan in the Milan cage, absent for another month, to open the scoring by Alfred Duncan (15th).

The result was a festival of missed opportunities for the Milanese and counters from Fiorentina, who escaped with a nice wrapped shot from Riccardo Saponara (45 + 1) then a winning raid of his nugget Dusan Vlahovic (60).

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, so far clumsy, kept the flame at the Rossoneri with a double (62nd, 67th).

But Théo Hernandez made too much error at the end of the match, having a ball stolen in front of his surface, which Vlahovic (85th) took advantage of again to knock out the Milanese, who scored an unnecessary third goal in added time.

The 21-year-old Serb joins Ciro Immobile at the top of the scorers' standings with ten goals.

Juve on the right foot

Thanks to two Bonucci penalties, Juventus is relaunched after a very average first third of the season.

In the absence of Paulo Dybala, who returned from the Argentina rally with a calf injury, Alvaro Morata and Federico Chiesa were decisive by obtaining both penalties.

The first (23rd) was awarded after intervention by video assistance for a fault by Danilo Cataldi on the Spaniard.

Bonucci transformed him to start a match that started on a false rhythm, in particular because of a long interruption due to the injury of the Turin defender Danilo (thigh), released on a stretcher.

The second was secured by Chiesa after a clumsy tackle from Pepe Reina.

Bonucci was again intractable to ensure the victory of his family, scoring at the Stadio Olimpico, where Jorginho missed a week ago against Switzerland (1-1) a penalty which condemns the Nazionale to play in the qualifying play-offs at the Global-2022.

"If I had been asked, I would have shot him without problem but the first shooter was him," responded Bonucci, after a match that Adrien Rabiot did not finish, visibly affected in the right flank.

- Atalanta teaches the lesson -

Atalanta largely beat La Spezia (5-2) and master Gian Piero Gasperini taught student Thiago Motta a lesson.

The former Paris SG midfielder, 39, on the bench at La Spezia since this summer, cited in his coaching thesis last year the offensive precepts of Gasperini, 63, his ex-coach at Genoa (2008 -09).

Thiago Motta was able to realize that his ex-coach had lost nothing of his art: despite the opening of the score of La Spezia by M'Bala Nzola (11th), Atalanta had control over the debates in scoring three goals in the first period (including a brace from Mario Pasalic) and two more late in the game.

The "Dea" (4th) thus joins Inter (3rd) in terms of number of points.
