These are the residents of the LSS accommodation Enen in Torsby who received several thousand kronor in rent increase when they moved to the new service accommodation.

Sture Arnesson's principal, for example, received the rent for a small second double to SEK 7,990 a month.

He claims that several of the tenants were in practice forced to move to the new much more expensive accommodation.

- It was definitely a forced relocation and now the situation is that my boyfriend's finances are not enough.

I want to see an immediate reaction from IVO, says Sture Arnesson.

Does not reach financial level

He has previously demanded that the municipality introduce a rent ceiling of SEK 6,500 a month.

- As the situation is now, it means a minus every month for the person I am a good husband to.

Should he not be able to do something when the rent is paid?

According to Arnesson, his principal does not reach the financial level that the National Board of Health and Welfare and the Swedish Consumer Agency advocate.

Therefore, he turns to IVO.

There is no wallet for rent

The chairman of the Social Welfare Committee in Torsby, Tommy Olsson (S), tells SVT that the committee has previously decided not to introduce a rent ceiling.

- That wallet does not exist.

We are already back as it is now.

We can not do that, says Tommy Olsson.

According to the municipality's calculations, a rental roof would cost the municipality approximately SEK 300,000.

- Otherwise, I do not intend to comment on this until IVO comes with its statement, says Tommy Olsson.
