The "Guangzhou Motor Show" has begun in China, the world's largest automobile market, and electric vehicles that can travel more than 1000 kilometers on a single charge have been unveiled.

At the motor show that started on the 19th in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in southern China, more than 240 new energy vehicles such as EV = electric vehicles were exhibited, accounting for nearly a quarter of the total.

Of these, the local state-owned manufacturer, GAC Dust An, has announced a new EV model that is equipped with a high-performance battery developed by the group and can run over 1000 kilometers on a single charge.

In addition, Honda unveiled a new EV brand car in China, which was newly launched by Honda, and Nissan Motor will launch it in China for the first time next month, generating electricity with a gasoline engine and running with the power of a motor. We are exhibiting hybrid vehicles.



In China, the EV shift is accelerating, with EV sales reaching more than 2.1 million units by last month, nearly double the record high of last year.



The Chinese government is also supporting electrification in terms of policy, such as raising the ratio of new energy vehicle production that manufacturers are obliged to do, and competition among companies is likely to intensify.
