November 18, 2021 Alexander Zverev beats Hubert Hurkacz and qualifies for the semifinal of the Turin ATP Finals. Thus the possibility of seeing Jannik Sinner in the semifinals disappears, on the pitch tonight against Daniil Medvedev in the last match of the 'red group'.

Alexander Zverev is therefore the second semifinalist of the red group of the Turin ATP Finals. The German player overtook the Polish Hubert Hukacz with a score of 6-2, 6-4 thus overtaking in the standings and effectively eliminating the blue Jannik Sinner.

At 9 pm the South Tyrolean tennis player will still take the field against the Russian Daniil Medvedev, the winner of the group, in his last (and irrelevant for the ranking) match of the tournament.

Zverev will face Serbian Novak Djokovic in the semifinals, while Medvedv will challenge the winner of the match between compatriot Andrey Rublev and Norwegian Casper Ruud.
