Shoigu reported to Putin on the successful firing of a Zircon rocket in the White Sea

"Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the successful firing of a Zircon hypersonic missile in the White Sea from the Admiral of the Soviet Union Fleet Gorshkov," RIA Novosti quoted the Defense Ministry as saying.

On November 17, the Zircon hypersonic missile launched from the Northern Fleet frigate Admiral of the Soviet Union Fleet Gorshkov hit a naval target in the White Sea with a direct hit.

In early October, the Russian navy tested the Zircon hypersonic missile from the Severodvinsk nuclear submarine.
