Earlier, the Moscow City Court overturned the decision on house arrest of the rector of Shaninka Sergei Zuev, who was arrested in the fraud case, and sent him to a pre-trial detention center.
Lawyer Sergei Kozhura said he would appeal the decision to transfer Zuev from house arrest to a pre-trial detention center.
On October 13, the Tverskoy District Court ruled to send the rector of the university under house arrest until December 7.
