The jury, chaired by Olivier de Lagarde, deputy editor-in-chief of FranceInfo, selected:

- Pierre Charon, LR senator from Paris: "Xavier Bertrand wanted to be hypersonic, he is subsonic; he did not pass the sound barrier" (Le Figaro, November 4)

- Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, candidate Debout la France in the presidential election: "I am strong among people who are on the verge of voting" (Le Parisien, October 4)

Eleven "little phrases" had already been selected in March and in September, the award ceremony will take place on December 7.

The "Press club, humor and politics" prize was won in 2019 by Édouard Philippe.

When asked whether it all went back to Matignon, the Prime Minister at the time replied: "No, just the shit".

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the prize had not been awarded in 2020.
