A 21-year-old student was seriously injured Monday evening in his apartment in Nogent-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne).

He was allegedly stabbed by his younger brother, aged 15, reports

The teenager would have entered the room of his elder and asked him to close his eyes.

He then allegedly struck him nine times with Opinel before fleeing.

Alerted by the mother of the family, the police attended the scene and discovered the victim in a worrying state.

The officials made the first aid measures to stop the various hemorrhages.

The young adult was shot in the neck, back, one hand and elbow.

He was then taken care of by the firefighters and the Smur, then transferred urgently to the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital.

Its vital prognosis would not however be engaged.

Jealousy at the origin of the aggression?

His younger brother was arrested in the evening, in Champigny-sur-Marne.

He had just contacted his mother after borrowing a passerby's phone.

He was taken to the police station by the anti-crime squad.

It remains to be seen what prompted this boy with no history or psychiatric disorder to commit such an act.

According to the Ile-de-France daily, a feeling of jealousy and an inferiority complex could be at the origin of the tragedy.
