A Washington court has sentenced Jacob Chansley, a supporter of former President Donald Trump, to 41 months in prison for his role in the January 6 storming of the US Congress.

Chancesley, who was known as the "Shaman" of the right-wing Que Anon movement, entered the Senate chamber, sat in the chair of then-Vice President Mike Pence, and left a handwritten note saying, "It's a matter of time. Justice is coming."
The authorities arrested him a few days after the attack, and he has been in custody for 10 months. He went to trial in September on the basis of pleading guilty to charges of participating in the storming of Congress with hundreds of Trump supporters.
