“In Moscow, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev held a working meeting with the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Volfovich,” the statement says.

It is noted that the parties discussed "the implementation of a number of sectoral programs, as well as the most important documents of the Union State in the field of security, including the Military Doctrine and the Concept of Migration Policy."

It is also reported that the parties signed a plan of cooperation between the apparatus of the Security Council of Russia and the State Secretariat of the Security Council of Belarus for 2022-2023, in which special attention is paid to interaction in the field of strategic planning.

Earlier it was reported that Russian leader Vladimir Putin and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko discussed the situation on the Belarusian-Polish border.
