The artists who will perform in the second edition of the ongoing series tomorrow (Friday) come from all over the world, but they will present works inspired by their lives in their current city of residence, Dubai.

Emirati singer Aryam presents a selection of her own songs, in addition to a group of traditional Emirati songs.

The hugely popular singer grabbed the headlines when she became the first person to sing the poems of the late founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, who also gave her the name “Aryam”.

As for “Frick”, who has been called the godfather of the Arab “drill rap” scene, also known as Mustafa Ismail, he will present his pioneering music on the “Expo” arena. The 26-year-old Somali rapper was born and raised in Abu Dhabi, and is best known for writing the 2019 adidas campaign song, which featured Egyptian football star Mohamed Salah. Sudanese singer-songwriter Junaidi bridges the gaps between cultures through music that unites a range of musical genres, from funk to R&B, dancehall to reggae.

Jubilee podium guests are looking forward to a set of animation by the artist, who gained fame for his skill in acting, stage presentation and performance.

The creation of the Dubai-based four-member band Monteith was the result of a serendipitous encounter worthy of a song in itself. The two band members, Alex and Josh, originally met on a late-night bus ride from a music festival in Abu Dhabi.

Fans of Kings of Leon will appreciate Monteith's touching music, composed by musicians from Chile, Germany, the Philippines and Portugal.

While the beginnings of the four-member rock group "Counting in Spanish", formerly known as "Physical Gravity", sang at many open mic concerts and parties in cafes and entertainment venues in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

With musical influences ranging from Hans Zimmer, Frank Ocean, Sweetfoot and Michael Jackson, The Dear Hummer's catchy and original songs embody life in the Emirates.

The nationalities of the band vary between Colombia, India and the Philippines, but all of their songs represent images of Dubai.

Choreographer and CEO of Sima Dance Company, and founder of Sima for the Performing Arts, Alaa Krimmed, winner of the 2014 MBC Arabs Got Talent TV competition, a Palestinian national and Syrian-born, who moved the band to Dubai in 2015 will participate in the performances.
