The workshop attracts a number of Beit Al Hamour goers of different groups and ages, who enjoy an experience through which they learn the techniques of finger knitting and crochet, and spin a number of funny shapes inspired by the marine environment, using the “Alisa Buffy” yarn, which is characterized by its softness and ease of use.

Among the most prominent creative shapes that the participants contributed to weaving in the form of sea creatures: starfish, seahorses, grouper fish, jellyfish, sea snakes, octopus, and other marine creatures.

The training classes organized in the open air represent the third part of the activities of Bait Al Hamour in the Arena of Opportunities, and come as part of a series of various workshops organized by the "The Jamjar" studio, commissioned by "Expo 2020 Dubai".

The knitting and spinning arts workshop is held with the participation of female craftswomen in the art of knitting and crochet, including: Majda Kabariti and Mai Riad from Jordan, Afton Regina, Janki Pandya from India, and others.
