Croatia's pavilion at the "Expo" exhibition, which is located in the mobility area, presents the history and development of the country to its visitors, by highlighting the 1,000 historical castles included in the country, and reviewing more than 1,000 islands spread on its coasts located in the Adriatic Sea.

The pavilion mixes history, the country's civilization and its geographical nature, through models on the ground that mimic the colors and nature of the Adriatic Sea and the various creatures it includes, most notably sea turtles, in addition to suspended ceilings displaying the current changes in the weather in Croatia, through clouds moving across those ceilings, enabling the visitor. The wing has a sense of the sky, clouds, and weather fluctuations, during that time of the year in the country.

Croatia, which is located in southeastern Europe, to the eastern side of the Adriatic Sea, through its pavilion at the "Expo", displays huge screens that include videos of the most prominent cities and islands included in the country, and historical castles in their forms that overlap with nature and are covered with green plants from various sides. , listing the most important information about the history of the country and the castles that symbolize it, in addition to the scenic landscapes of mountains, beaches and nature reserves.

While visitors to the Croatia pavilion take a journey between history and the present, through a large room inside the pavilion surrounded from the inside by large screens displaying the most prominent symbols of Croatia in history, most notably Nikola Tesla, and even the current symbols in the sports and art sector, most notably the Real Madrid player, Luka Modric. .

The Consul General of the Republic of Croatia in Dubai and the Northern Regions and Commissioner of the Croatian Pavilion at the Expo, Jasmine Devlik, stated that “Croatia can be called the country of 1000 castles, given the presence of historical castles of different shapes and sizes spread across the country, dating back to the beginnings of the 17th centuries. And the 18th, and it is one of the main landmarks in the country, in addition to the presence of more than 1,000 islands surrounding its coasts.

He added, to "Emirates Today", that "despite the small geographical area of ​​the country, which amounts to 56,594 thousand square kilometers, it has been famous throughout its history for containing creative minds that contributed to the history of mankind with many inventions, which may not be famous for some, and the Highlight them in the suite. Devlik pointed out that one of the most famous inventors, who reviews their lives in the state pavilion, is Nikola Tesla, who, after studying at a number of European colleges, contributed to the establishment of the first (telephone exchange) in Budapest, Hungary, and traveled to New York, and has many innovations, from Most notably, the use of alternating electric current in hydroelectric power stations.

He added that "the pavilion highlighted the contribution of the innovations of the Croat, Faust Francic, who contributed to the invention of the parachute and experimented with it during the year 1617, before it was developed for the modern form in stages after that."

He pointed out that "the pavilion also displays the fastest electric car in the world, the (Nevira), the fastest in its class, produced by the Croatian company (Rimak), and launched for the first time in the Middle East through the (Expo 2020) platform. High-priced cars, with a price of two million euros (8.7 million dirhams), and a top speed of 412 kilometers, while moving from stability to a speed of 100 kilometers in just two seconds, and a distance of up to 550 kilometers, after being fully charged.

He explained that "the company will make the car available in the country's markets soon," noting that "the company will produce a limited number of that car, amounting to only 150 cars, during the next three years."

He said that "Croatia intends to open its first consulate in Dubai at the end of this year, or the beginning of next year at the latest, in order to further support trade and tourism relations in the coming periods."
