He said this during a speech at a security forum organized by the Republic of Korea.

Gebreyesus believes this gives the coronavirus more room to move and mutate.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that some countries in need are unable to access coronavirus vaccines due to unfair competition and protectionist policies.
