At least two people have died and several cars have been set on fire after two explosions took place in central Kampala, Uganda.

The explosions are said to have taken place in two different places, one near the parliament and the other near the police station.

The cause of the explosions is still unclear.

Last month, the terrorist group IS claimed responsibility for a bomb attack, even then in Kampala.

The act killed a 20-year-old waitress and injured three people.

Another explosion occurred in October, when a suicide bomber was on a bus.

The perpetrator was the only one who died in that act.
