Arla announced in mid-October that it would fight for the brand if the Happy Farmer did not change its brand.
This is what Arla's press manager Erik Bratthall says to SVT Nyheter Öst today:
- We have previously informed Glada bonden that their brand is too close to our brand.
We have now submitted a lawsuit stating that they must change their brand.
We believe that they come too close to our registered trademark.
The new dairy owners' legal representative, the law firm Glimstedt, says that they can not confirm that the lawsuit has been submitted by Arla.
SVT has contacted Glada bonden for a comment.
