A 7-year-old child hit by a car in front of his school in Sarcelles

A 7-year-old child was mown down by a car on Monday in Sarcelles (Val-d'Oise).

The accident happened in front of a primary school at around 1:45 p.m., as the young boy was crossing the road with his father.

The victim was taken care of by the firefighters then the doctors of Smur, before being evacuated in absolute emergency to the Robert-Debré hospital in Paris, reports

A psychological unit was therefore set up by the National Education at the request of the school director.

The day before, a 75-year-old woman was fatally hit by a motorist in Saint-Gratien, still in Val-d'Oise.

After fleeing, the man behind the wheel finally went to the police station where he was taken into custody for manslaughter.
