The crew of Shenzhou 13 astronauts stationed in the Chinese space station has been "full moon."

In the past month, from the first on-orbit emergency evacuation drill, the first time a Chinese female astronaut came out of the cabin, to the continuously updated "little tidbits" of space life, the "home work" of the astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping, and Ye Guangfu continued to be "new".

"Live" safe, "drink" safe

In the complex and dangerous space environment, the space station will face dangers such as the impact of external debris when it is operating in orbit.

Wang Chunhui, deputy chief designer of the astronaut system of the China Astronaut Center, said that the Chinese space station regards the safety of astronauts as the highest and most stringent design standard. Researchers have considered various failure plans in the design of the space station, including loss of pressure and fire in the cabin. Wait.

In this regard, the "Shen XIII" astronauts conducted the first emergency evacuation exercise in orbit. By simulating the impact of the core module and the internal pressure loss, the three astronauts divided the work to check the instruments, open the emergency gas cylinders, and close the doors. Evacuate to the Shenzhou 13 return cabin.

For six months of living in orbit, in addition to the safety of the space station, the safety of drinking water is also very important. Astronauts sample the water for microbiological testing every month.

In the video of the Shenzhou 13 astronaut crew’s first water test in orbit, in order to avoid contaminating the water samples, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu put on masks and gloves. Stay on the filter membrane and observe the collected microbial samples to check whether the water drunk in space is clean.

In the future, the Shenzhou 13 crew will use the Tianzhou 2 cargo spacecraft as the test object to conduct a cabin rotation test to lay the foundation for subsequent missions.

Li Xuedong, the chief designer of the space station system of the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, said that this is a transposition technology that must be mastered before the final "T" shape is formed in the assembly and construction stage of the Chinese space station.

Data map: At 9:50 on October 17, Beijing time, the Shenzhou 13 astronaut crew successfully opened the cargo compartment door and successfully entered the Tianzhou 3 cargo spacecraft to check and sort the contents of the cargo ship.

"Feel good" again from space

On November 8, the crew of the Shenzhou 13 astronaut successfully completed the first mission out of the capsule.

Zhai Zhigang, the first person of China's "space walk", re-launched the capsule after a lapse of 13 years. Wang Yaping became the first female astronaut in China to conduct the capsule-exit activity. The "feel good" sent by the two astronauts from space was moving.

In this mission, Wang Yaping took the first step of a Chinese female astronaut in spacewalk.

This is not a simple "space walk". Wang Yaping not only has to climb along the bulkhead, autonomously transfer to the operating point, and assist Zhai Zhigang in installing the robotic arm suspension and adapters, but also stand on the robotic arm and lean forward as much as possible. , Lean to the left, lean to the right, lean forward to the left, lean forward to the right, etc.

This set of "space broadcast gymnastics" is actually a typical exercise test.

According to reports, astronauts are affected by the weightlessness of space and the extravehicular spacesuits they wear during extravehicular operations, and their mobility is limited. When designing products and missions, researchers must consider changes in astronauts’ capabilities. It is necessary to pass typical motion tests and collect relevant data to help researchers master the characteristics of astronauts.

It is worth mentioning that the extravehicular space suit with yellow elements worn by Wang Yaping also made its debut.

At present, China's space station has 3 sets of extravehicular space suits, each with national flag red, space blue, and national flag yellow stripes.

Ding Lingyan, the chief designer of the astronaut system outer suit assembly of the China Astronaut Scientific Research and Training Center, said that these different signs are mainly for the convenience of distinguishing astronauts working outside the cabin.

Space "Home" Life "Tips" continue to be updated

The 3 astronauts’ “home everyday” images in space have recently been released. For example, they cleaned up the “kitchen waste” after a meal, Ye Guangfu used a tissue to “wipe the air” after spilling a drink, Zhai Zhigang took time to play Tai Chi, and Wang Yaping and Zhai Zhigang became “Tony”. "Teacher" gave Ye Guangfu a haircut, Zhai Zhigang wore a "non-flushing artifact" to wash his hair, and Wang Yaping showed the space "no gargle" style brushing...The astronauts showed the people an interesting and warm space life.

In terms of diet and daily life, the astronauts turn off the lights at around 10 o'clock every evening and have a two-hour lunch break at noon; in addition, the "space menu" has been updated.

In order to ensure physical fitness, astronauts will "extra meals" before exiting the cabin.

Li Hongyi, an associate researcher at the Eighth Room of the China Astronaut Research and Training Center, said that the "supplement" contains six kinds of foods, including flower packs, compressed biscuits, and concentrated orange juice. They are mainly high-carbohydrate and low-fiber foods to provide astronauts with sufficient energy. At the same time, it will not cause the discomfort of defecation and gas production.

While material life is guaranteed, the astronauts’ leisure activities have not fallen. Chinese state media recently released a video of astronauts reading the general preface of Ba Jin’s "Rapid Current" in space.

It is reported that Zhai Zhigang previously brought pen, ink, paper and inkstone from the ground, while Ye Guangfu and Wang Yaping brought musical instruments. When the new space "business trip" trio will "show their hands" in space has also become the public's expectation.
