- Sweden's largest sports high school now also opens the door for the country's best chess player in a unique collaboration between Celsiusskolan and the Swedish Chess Federation, says Jörgen Norman to Swedish Chess.

According to Erik Malmstig, vice chairman of the Swedish Chess Federation, it is a desire for education that has made it a reality.

- For several years we have had questions about why there is no training for chess players, and now we get it, says Erik Malmstig.

Exercise three times a week during school hours is the plan (two-hour session).

The opportunities at the chess boards are supplemented with guidance from the country's best chess coach.

What are you hoping for?

- That we will get a world player thanks to this investment.
