Emmanuel Macron and Vladimir Poutine have agreed on a "de-escalation" of the migration crisis on the border between Belarus and Poland, announced the Elysee Palace on Monday, after a 1h45 call between the French and Russian presidents.
"Our hope is that this long interview will be able in the days to come to bring results" on the influx of migrants from Belarus to the Polish border, commented the Elysee, indicating that Vladimir Putin had said he was going " talk about it ”to his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.
