The Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, during the hosting of the thirteenth edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, scored a new achievement by entering the Guinness Book of Records with the largest Jiu-Jitsu training session in the world throughout history simultaneously in 14 locations in cooperation with Palms Sports Company, in the presence of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Brazilian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Fernando Igrega, Vice President of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri, Member of the Board of Directors of the Federation, Youssef Al-Batran, and General Manager of Palms Sports, Fouad Darwish, with the participation of 2,700 trainees. The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation organized the training session in cooperation with those responsible for the Brazilian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, with the aim of highlighting the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle, promoting the sport of jiu-jitsu to the widest possible segment of the audience, as well as consolidating the UAE’s prestigious position on the global jiu-jitsu map. .

The sites where the training session was organized were distributed among 14 sites in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, where the Brazil pavilion participating in the Expo 2020 Dubai was one of the most prominent sites that hosted the session.

Yesterday, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro witnessed some of the competitions of the 13th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, organized by the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation at the Jiu-Jitsu Arena in Zayed Sports City, with the participation of 4000 male and female players from more than 90 countries around the world.

The winners were crowned, greeted the crowd and took memorial photos with a number of Brazilian citizens residing in the UAE.
