A 75-year-old woman died this Sunday in a traffic accident in Saint-Gratien (Val-d'Oise).

The septuagenarian was struck around 3:45 p.m. while walking on an avenue, reports

She was taken care of by firefighters and doctors from Samu who failed to revive her.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances of this tragedy remain to be determined.

Our colleagues specify, however, that the driver of the car fled after mowing the victim.

He was still wanted Sunday evening by the police.

Another accident in Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône

The day was marked by another serious accident in the department.

A few kilometers from Saint-Gratien, a young man of 21 was seriously injured in a road exit, in Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône.

His vehicle rolled over and landed on the roof.

The victim was evacuated in absolute urgency to the Beaujon hospital center in Clichy.
