The "Watani Al Emarat" Foundation announced the launch of the children's infographic book "Tolerance", yesterday, at the headquarters of the Federal Youth Foundation's pavilion at "Expo 2020 Dubai", as part of its pioneering social and cultural activities, which it undertakes to spread awareness and spread a culture of tolerance and a spirit of peace. This came during a press conference attended by Dharar Belhoul Al Falasi, a member of the Federal National Council and Executive Director of Watani Al Emarat, Ahmed Al Hammadi, Executive Director of the Publishing Sector at Dubai Media Incorporated, and Mohammed Al Balushi, Chief of Security for Fly Dubai. and Director of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, Ahlam Al Bulooki.

The book launch ceremony included a video presentation in Arabic and French of the speech of Sheikha Rawda bint Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the occasion of the launch of the book, which was implemented and designed by a number of educational and psychological specialists, and addresses children in a manner appropriate to their ages and environments from all segments of society.

It aims to spread the concept of tolerance with an artistic output suitable for children in promoting the moral values ​​on which the Emirati society is based, which is represented by the true Islamic religion, and authentic Arab customs and traditions, especially since the United Arab Emirates is at the forefront of countries that have made tolerance a culture and a daily approach to promoting cohesion and cohesion. and societal solidarity, which contributes to consolidating the civilized human vision of the UAE as a normative country with its constants, values ​​and vision for the future of generations.

Dirar Belhoul Al Falasi stressed that this initiative comes in response to the state's vision as it enters the next fifty years, and to reinforce the values ​​of love, tolerance and peace in the hearts of children, an idea, a vision and a behavior, to create a generation capable of dialogue and positive constructive communication with the other.

Al Falasi said: "This book has been worked on according to the word, the image and the creative work, to address the children in a way that suits their ages and is compatible with their different environments in different cultures, to consolidate the values ​​of tolerance that enhance social cohesion and cohesion to build a promising and bright future that works with our human values ​​and ideals."

In turn, Ahmed Al Hammadi said, "The UAE is a global model in tolerance, and there is no doubt that the launch of the book (Tolerance) is of great importance, as it includes six stories in Arabic and the same number in English, in addition to five other languages."

He continued: "The book talks about the fabric and tolerance experienced by the UAE, and we are trying to convey this message to the child, as the book simulates the child in a natural way, which gives him the opportunity to know the components of his society, and the concept of tolerance is instilled within his concepts, and at the same time this concept will be transferred to Other children, and in general, I think that the timing of the launch of this book is very important, especially since it coincides with (Expo 2020 Dubai).”

For his part, Mohammed Al Balushi stressed that "(the company) since its establishment has been seeking to spread the values ​​of tolerance and authentic Emirati values ​​by supporting the state's directions in this regard, and participating in national initiatives that would enhance the company's goals and strategies."

Speaking about the launch of the children's informational book "Tolerance", he explained the role of "Fly Dubai" in this initiative, saying: "The company seeks to publish the book through 92 stations outside the country as a message that highlights the manifestations of tolerance in the UAE and among the Arab child, because of what it possesses ( flydubai) from a wide network covering the countries of the world.

In addition, it was revealed during the press conference that this initiative enriches the culture of diversity that represents the character of the Emirati society with a human nature, and consolidates the values ​​and principles laid down by the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, who believed in the values ​​of tolerance and equality. And he made the UAE a shining name in the record of humanity and the preservation of human dignity and rights, in every sense of this word, an approach that our wise leadership is following, and is working hard and sincerely to translate it honestly on the ground.

The children's infographic book "Tolerance" is one of the vocabulary of the "Watani Al Emarat" Foundation, which seeks with all its efforts and energies to promote values ​​in the individual and the Emirati society, through initiatives, lectures and workshops in response to the vision of our wise leadership in promoting the values ​​of tolerance and peace in the souls of our future generations. Hope for the present and the future.

The book includes carefully selected pictures and drawings, which represent awareness lessons that promote the culture and values ​​of tolerance, contribute to eliminating bullying caused by different colors, nationalities and races, and emphasize teaching children the need to respect others to create a generation aware of the values ​​of their national identity and stimulate creativity and develop the skill of choosing colors and how Its use, which achieves in general the concept of good citizenship, and knowledge of the cultures and landmarks of peoples.
