November 14, 2021 A strong turnout is characterizing the medium-term political elections in Argentina.

Half of the members of the House are renewed (127 out of 257, with a four-year term) and a third of the Senate (24 out of 72, term of eight years).



At 16 (20 Italian), three hours before the closing of the polling stations, reports the TV 'all news' TN, according to the National Electoral Chamber 60% of those entitled to vote had voted, eleven points more than the percentage registered at the same time. 12 September on the occasion of the 'primary' won by the opposition.



Analysts are working to understand whether this change in the increase in voter participation will mean the possibility for the government party "Frente de Todos" to reduce the disadvantage of two months ago, or if instead it will benefit the opposition which will be able to obtain a more conspicuous victory, united in the cartel "Juntos por el Cambio".



The first official results should already be available less than two hours after 7pm (11pm Italian time), when the voting operations will close.
