Saudi Arabia granted citizenship to a number of distinguished experts, as the first batch since it opened the door to naturalization of competencies, with the aim of promoting the wheel of development.

And the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) stated that the royal approval was issued to grant Saudi citizenship to a number of distinguished, highly qualified, experienced and rare specialists.

The list of names that were granted Saudi citizenship included prominent names in the cultural and intellectual fields, who had important contributions to supporting the local cultural movement with productions, efforts and qualitative publications. The list of names granted Saudi citizenship also included a number of competencies in the religious, historical, medical and educational fields, as well as Investment competencies, digital technology, and sports.

Among the most prominent among those on the list is Dr. Amin Seydou, who has supplemented the Saudi cultural movement with a series of productions and works that exceeded thirty publications, documenting the progress of culture, thought and literature figures in Saudi Arabia.

Sido excelled in bibliographic studies, and presented works in this field. He also worked in the King Fahd National Library, and was director of the editor’s magazine, and presented a bibliometric study and an exclusive bibliography on “Saudis and Library and Information Science”.

He also obtained Saudi citizenship, Dr. Muhammad Al-Baq’i, a researcher, investigator and translator, and the owner of about 40 books in various arts, most notably historical and critical studies and translation, and worked as a professor of linguistic studies and critical literature in a number of academic institutions, including King Saud University in Riyadh.

Al-Beqai is currently working at the King Salman Center for the Studies of the History of the Arabian Peninsula, leaning on a long legacy of investigating publications related to the history of the Arabian Peninsula and the Saudi state. .

The list also included Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Sammak, a historian with a doctorate in modern and contemporary history, who lived nearly half a century of his life in Saudi Arabia.

Sammak worked on publishing translations of a number of statesmen during the founding period, especially from Arabs who worked with King Abdulaziz.

The list also included director Samaan Al-Ani, one of the pioneers of theater directing, and one of the first to join the Saudi theater as a director since the seventies, after graduating from the theater department in Baghdad and coming to Saudi Arabia.

Al-Ghani directed the play "The Train of Fortune", the first Saudi theatrical work, and with it the march of his giving and his affiliation to the Saudi artistic and cultural space began, and many Saudi actors graduated from it.

The prominent calligrapher "Mukhtar Alem" obtained Saudi citizenship, and he is the calligrapher of the covering of the Kaaba and the sheikh of the calligraphers of Mecca, and he is now working as a calligrapher in the Kaaba's covering factory.

Mukhtar Alem also participated in his works in international exhibitions and international forums, and his works were acquired by a number of political leaders, and he received awards and certificates of appreciation from various parties.
